PALM COAST — Savory food and fire safety tips will be the theme of this month’s Food Truck Tuesdays event, according to a City of Palm Coast news release.

The event will take place from 5 to 8:30 p.m. May 21 in Central Park at Town Center and will feature 11 food trucks, mobile kitchens, canteens and catering trucks that offer up gourmet foods.

Foods to be featured this month include fish and chips, regional American, French cuisine, ice cream and barbecue.

Many menus are kid-friendly, and a live DJ will provide entertainment.

The public will also have the opportunity to learn about fire safety at the city’s fire safety trailer and interactive fire house water station. Proceeds from May’s Food Truck Tuesdays event will go toward Palm Coast Fire Department’s fire prevention and community outreach programs.

Food Truck Tuesdays is presented by the City of Palm Coast, Kix Country 98.7 FM and Beach 92.7 FM on the third Tuesday of every month.
