The six-month experiment is over — the city has decided to keep it’s food truck program for downtown. It introduced food trucks here in May. And after some trial and error, it settled on three locations — Main Plaza, Travis Park and the Weston Centre — for the lunchtime program. The latest schedule shows a fourth location at Madison Square Park, behind the Baptist Medical Center. Here’s the schedule:
11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday
• Mondays, Thursdays at Main Plaza
• Tuesdays at Travis Park
• Wednesdays at Weston Centre
• Fridays at Madison Square Park

Also, 5-8 tonight, food trucks return to Travis Park for their occasional evening engagement. Cheesy Jane’s, Wheelie Gourmet and La Fondita are scheduled to serve. And there will be picnic table seating courtesy of the St. Anthony Hotel.
Of course, it’s Downtown Tuesday, so parking at city garages and spots is free beginning at 5 p.m.
