The menu is food porn for metallers at its finest, and changes with daily specials like the Molly Hatchet, a half-pound burger with sausage fennel gravy, maple syrup and bacon.
The truck comes from Mike Baum (front of the "house") and chef Eddy Pham, who met just a year ago and realized they would need each other to enter -- and be successful in -- the street food biz. They almost got their truck up and running for the spring, but due to health challenges had to push the launch date back.
The Valley’s food trucks are dishing out gourmet hot dogs, Latin American fare, homemade pies and many other delicious and affordable treats.
The truck will set up shop at supermarkets and other venues across the Phoenix area from June 27 through July 7.
The food truck chefs will be creating a special "Ate on 5th" dish for the judges and guests to try. When guests buy the "Ate on 5th" dish from each food truck they will also receive discounts to participating area retailers, restaurants and bars. (The discounts will need to be validated at the concierge desk at the event.)
