Judging from our (admittedly) small sampling, most trucks will keep on rolling through the winter months showing up on street corners and in business parks. But it's hardly the same as the spring and summer boom times.
There were a variety of things to choose from, ranging from a Thai food truck to a “mobile cupcakery” and a food truck that served only crêpes. The cold noodle and spring roll dish I got from Hot Box “Next Level Street Food” was a fairly sized portion of an Asian “pasta salad” of ramen noodles and various veggies, with the spring rolls this week being filled with duck and blood orange. I found both to be delicious, and wish the lines hadn’t prevented me from trying the many other offerings at the event.

Food Truck Friday has another session in Town Center Park, with live music again.
The lineup of trucks offers a diverse menu. Everything from crepes to cupcakes and bagels to beer will be offered. This is the third season of Food Truck Friday will need all 16 of the truck if it hopes to beat last year's season attendance of over 16 thousand, and with a line up including 4 of the nation's top 101 food trucks, as rated by restaurant review website Daily Meal, they have a chance.
A trio of food trucks will be pulling up to the Camden waterfront every Friday at lunch beginning May 10 and continuing throughout the summer.

St. Louis publication Sauce Magazine has requested that the city of Chesterfield stop using the term "Food Truck Friday" to promote its summertime events with mobile vendors setting up shop at city hall, which starts today.
