La Brasserie Street food cart’s lone, titillating entrée item has sold out regularly since opening April 11.
The hit Food Network series Eat St. comes to Canada tonight and features Vancouver's newest food truck Feastro the Rolling Bistro.
The Vancouver-produced lifestyle series, which premieres tonight (10:30 p.m.), criss-crossed North America for the past year looking for the best of downtown sidewalk chefs.
"If you like good food, you've come to the right place," said Mayor Gregor Robertson. "This is affordable street food and it reflects Vancouver's cultural diversity -and it creates some truly new opportunities for local entrepreneurs."
The city announced the winners of this year’s 19 new street food vending licenses in a chilly morning downpour behind city hall April 4. The winners will join 17 food vendors who won spots last year in a city lottery.
