Good news for Northern Virginians: You’ll no longer have to trek to Metro Center for those prize-winning creme brulee doughnuts. Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken launched its food truck this morning, and you can catch it around Arlington dishing out coffee and doughnuts. The truck, which will tweet its locations at @astrodoughnuts, hopes to be able to service the District soon.
Each morning, the truck can be found in Rosslyn, Clarendon or Ballston (today’s location) at 8:30 a.m. The doughnut flavors will match what’s in-store that day, and the coffee is from Brooklyn Roasting Company. Sorry, fans of Astro’s chicken: it’s only doughnuts for now.
