Some days only a pork bun will do. On days like that you no longer have to run around trying to locate street food favourite Yum Bun because from March 1 the soft steamed buns will be available all day in their own restaurant on Old Street.
The signature bun – made with free range Blythburgh pork, slow roasted, gently fried and then topped with hoi sin sauce, cucumbers and spring onions – will be made under a roof for the first time. In addition there will be a veggie option and changing specials including karagge chicken, braised beef and crispy or sticky fish. Lunch boxes (bun, soup, salad and gyoza) will also be available. Opening next door the new Rotary Bar and Diner, you are welcome to eat your bun with a beer from the bar next door.
