Street food, Pinoy style is finding its way into the bellies of adventurous foodies and those who have a hankering for a taste of home in LA, the City of Lights.
The Texas Burger comes with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a fried egg on top. They handled the fried egg just right, with plenty of yolk running down the sides of the burger and bun. We may have needed a few extra napkins, but there’s nothing like a messy yolk covering all aspects of a burger.
The fried egg also had a little crispiness around the edges, but our favorite part of the egg is the yolk. Breaking up the soft yellow yolk helped us spread yolky love all over the bacon and gouda cheese.
"People are waking up. We are seeing a lot more interest in locally sourced food, organic food," said Katherine Paul, spokeswoman for Organic Consumers Association. "People are realizing the corporate and industrial food systems are not producing healthy food."

Eggstatic food truck offers another option, conscious fare for diners on the run. The truck specializes in a wide range of local, organic, natural, non-GMO, and humanely raised meats in a hurry.
Instead of a fried egg, how about a sunnyside? There’s nothing better than gooey yolk dripping down bacon, eggs, cheese, beef and a bun. It can get messy, but it can also be heavenly.
The menu is Southeast Asian, with wraps, salads and rice and noodle dishes, but what caught our eye were some of their appetizers.
