I had just exited the train station at Uxbridge when I smelled a delicious aroma wafting through the air! Like Sherlock Holmes following the latest lead in a case, I followed the smell along the High Street… until I arrived at a market stall selling Garlic Prawnies: they are seemingly a French delicacy!

It took me about 3 seconds of consideration before I ordered a polystyrene cup of the Garlic Prawnies for the princely sum of 3 quid, which was an absolute bargain! There were about 7 in total, just the right amount for little snack before I played 5 a side football!
I’m not sure, but I think the market was a continental or perhaps French Market, I was little bit pushed for time so I never had the time to explore. The big banner on the stall said Welcome To Normandy a place that I will have to pop over the Channel very soon for a foody holiday!

Garlic Prawnies are indeed a delicious delicacy, which were full of intoxicating flavours! They tasted as good as they looked and smelled!
