WHAT: Pairing one of the country’s hottest dining trends with one of baseball’s most innovative ballparks, the Colorado Rockies and ARAMARK – the exclusive food and beverage partner at Coors Field – announce the arrival of “Wok in the Park,” believed to be Major League Baseball’s first in-venue food truck.
“Wok in the Park,” a mobile food concept developed and operated by ARAMARK, is the latest addition to Coors Field’s already expansive menu.
WHERE: The truck, licensed to travel throughout Denver County, will be parked along the Coors Field outfield concourse between the Buckaroos concession stand and Section 150 during all Rockies games.
MENU: Inspired by ARAMARK Executive Chef at Coors Field Craig Luckmann’s work at the 2010 Asian Games in China, the “Wok in the Park” menu features freshly made chicken or vegetable Asian noodle bowls, flavored with a blend of 15 vegetables and a signature, homemade sauce.
The Rockies and ARAMARK have been at the forefront of adapting dining trends for the ballpark, introducing baseball’s first concession stand dedicated to gluten-free fare in 2009.
