The new Gourmet Food Trailer from Metal Gourmetâ„¢ Â
is designed to allow mobile food chefs to configure their trailer to meet their particular cooking needs.
San Jose, Calif. –Â Metal Gourmet, Inc., a San Jose-based builder of premium mobile food trailers and carts, has announced new layout options to their popular Gourmet Food Trailer (Model MG-400A). The modular construction of the trailer allows for flexibility in the choice of or arrangement of steamers, griddles and grills. Base priced at $23,500, the Gourmet Food Trailer is a modest investment that allows food truck owners to essentially be at two places at once, or participate in events where food trucks can’t enter due to space restrictions or are not allowed on premise.
“The quality and adaptability of our Gourmet Food Trailer makes it ideal for a wide variety of culturally-specific food preparation venues. Both food truck owners and many caterers see our food trailer as an affordable way to prepare food on site as part of the growing mobile food market,” said Bud Rogers, President of Metal Gourmet.
The Gourmet Food Trailer features stainless steel food cooking appliances, a 5.5 cu. ft. electric refrigerator, hand washing sink, regulated burners (with grill), griddle and steamer, large dry storage area, and water heater on a NATM-approved, highway rated steel tube trailer frame with a tough stain-resistant power-coat finish available in many custom colors. The trailer is 67″ wide by 136″ long and a convenient 53″ high to the working surface. It includes a 120V, 60Hz electrical outlet, 4 gallon propane water heater, hot and cold water, along with separate fresh and waste water tanks.
