Some food truck roundups have been switched around so much they feel like a floating poker game, but the Biscayne Triangle Truckers Roundup, or BTTR, keeps going strong.

Located at NE 127th Street and Biscayne Boulevard (adjacent to Johnson & Wales University), this roundup features plenty of free parking, live reggae by Heart Roots, and live jazz by the Mike Curtis & Earle Eidenire Jazz Duo. Plus there are porta-potties as well as plenty of places to spread out a blanket and enjoy an evening with family and friends.

Last week’s BTTR had plenty of families, dogs, and friends enjoying the evening, even though an early rain shower forced the band to pack up early. The roundup goes from 5:30pm-10:00pm and tonight’s forecast predicts clear skies, so the music and the trucks should be out in full force.

New food truck Tango Grill will debut tonight, joining more than 30 trucks including Catered Bliss, Caza Crepes, CheeseMe, Chef on 4 Wheels, Churro Mania, Daddy’s Grill, Dim Ssam a Gogo, Dolci Peccati Gelato, Esther’s Caribbean Grill, the Fish Box, GastroPod, Giuseppe’s Italian Sausage, Grill Master Cafe, Jefe’s Tacos, Latin House Grill, the MexZican, MonTaco, Miso Hungry, Ms. Cheezious, Nacho Bizness, Nacho Mama’s, the Red Truck, the Rolling Stove, Sugar Yummy Mama, Wing Commander, Latin Burger, Coffee Brake, Slow Food Truck, Just Yummy Hot Dogs, Eat Where You Are, Divan Bakery, and Wrapidito Yum.
