The Flying Saucer lands at Street Food Friday today in time for lunch. The “saucer” is named for the 25 different sauces available on the truck – all made from scratch!
The sauces will be available on Flying Saucer’s selection of wings, tenders and sliders. Sauces range from the expected (BBQ and Terriyaki) to unique for a food truck (Guava and Thai Curry).
In addition to chicken and sliders, the truck will also offer authentic Philly cheesesteak, complete with cheese whiz, onions and mushrooms.
Adrian Sanchez, truck partner, is keeping it real. “We’re going to make the most authentic Philly cheesesteaks in Miami”, he said.  “We’re even importing the bread from a bakery in Philadelphia”. Come say hi to Adrian and his partners, Jose Soames and Fernamdo Tur at their Street Food Friday Debut.

Street Food Fridays is going strong today from 11:30-2:30. Trucks park by The Miami Herald at Biscayne Boulevard and N.E. 14th Street. Parking is free at The Miami Herald lot. Get your lunch on at the following trucks:

Lunch With The King For those of you working in the Blue Lagoon/MIA area, Jefe’s Original Fish Taco and Red Koi will be serving lunch across from the Burger King headquarters at 1101 N.W. 57th Avenue.
T.O.W. (Truckers Out West) has a new location this evening. No, not a lot of drama – just a scheduling conflict with the usual location. Trucks will be at 12504 SW 56th Street (The old Tiki Party place) from 6:00 p.m.- 10:30 p.m. Trucks include:
