Port St. Lucie, FL – In hopes of joining the ‘Food Truck Revolution’, River Cat Gourmet, a New Orleans themed mobile food booth, launched their food truck project on Kickstarter.com, a unique all-or-nothing funding method, on October 15, 2011.
Robin Potter, the chef and owner of River Cat Gourmet, is looking to raise the funds needed to launch a custom-built mobile kitchen that will hit the streets of Port St. Lucie and the surrounding Treasure Coast communities six days a week in the Spring of 2012 bringing ‘A Taste of New Orleans’ to both the day time business community as well as the late night club and event crowd. In addition to serving the Treasure Coast communities six days a week, the River Cat Gourmet Mobile Food Truck would be available for private events.
Currently Chef Robin sets up the River Cat Gourmet mobile food booth at Green Markets and other Special Events that are scheduled on the Treasure Coast of Florida, where he serves family recipes of traditional Po’ Boys, Gumbos, Jambalaya and other Crescent City delights.
