Food trucks who've been kicked out of Midtown and the Upper East Side are flooding the Upper West Side
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake came to the rescue of Baltimore's fledgling food truck scene Wednesday after a city official targeted a few of the mobile businesses because he said they lacked proper permits.
The event saw over 2,000 people attending the benefit party on Thursday, April 14. Over 19 food trucks were at the occasion!
D.C. Council member Jack Evans (D-Ward 2) plans to introduce legislation Tuesday, March 15, that would end the sales tax exemption for food trucks, requiring them to pay the same 10 percent tax as restaurants and other prepared food sellers.
