In the City of Montreal, only those possessing the proper permit can sell street food. At first glance it seems pretty simple: get a permit, get your food truck.
New England isn’t exactly known for its barbecue, but husband-and-wife team Mike Strout and Janice Sullivan have proven that their venture GottaQ BBQ Food Truck & Catering can hold its own. On Mobile Cuisine’s 2014 list of the best BBQ food trucks in the country, GottaQ ranked third, second only to two Texas trucks.
Nine different trucks are slated to be in attendance and showcase some of the Ocean State’s most unique mobile restaurants.
Brian Sousa and his wife, Tania, both natives of Taunton, launched O’Crepe in August. So far customers are flipping for the thin French-style pancakes.
Citizen Wing opened for business just this month with an array of gourmet chicken wings available for order. The selection includes staples like Southern BBQ, variations on classic flavors like Rosemary Hot (buffalo), and newfangled creations like Habanero Cilantro.
The trucks offer all types of food from burgers, to waffles. It's giving people a chance to enjoy the fall day, and fill their stomachs.
The festival will feature more than a dozen of New England’s most popular food trucks – many of which returning to the festival for the second year in a row!
The food truck bizarre beside the Narragansett Town Beach will delight patrons looking for a bite to eat. Throughout the summer the trucks will set up by the beach every Monday from 6 - 10 p.m.
The truck’s best-selling sandwich, the Bahn Mai, is a French/Vietnamese hybrid that Brooks-Rapp said she created after dining at a Vietnamese restaurant.
