What a wonderful day in the “City of Brotherly Love & Sisterly Affection”, otherwise known as Philadelphia. Were were out researching for a new series of articles and found ourselves in Center City Philadelphia today. After on 5 minutes in the city we were xtatic to come across a “Triple Threat” in Love Park.
It couldn’t get any better! Jose Garces’ Guapos Tacos, the Latin Farmer & The Buttercream Cupcake Lady trucks were strategically positioned on the corner of 16th St & JFK directly in front of the visitors center of Love Park.
These are 3 of the lucky trucks that were able to gain approval from the Philadelphia Sept. of Parks & Recreation to vend in Love Park on specifies days and we couldn’t have been any happier to be there!
After sampling a bit of Garces’ menu at the Philly Vendy Awards, we had to do it again. One order of “Short Rib Tacos PLEASE”. Can you say “T A S T Y” ?
Next, off to the Buttercream truck, better known as the “Cupcake Lady”. We ordered up a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter icing and a vanilla cupcake with vanilla icing. Can you say “D E L I C I O U S”?
We were a bit tight on time and are sorry to say we were not able to taste any of the Latin Farmer’s awesome sounding menu. We will make it a point to sample the Latin Farmer’s cuisine when we get back Philadelphia.
