I have a confession to make. I have never been to a food truck rodeo! Although rave reviews and mouth-watering photos of Rochester’s trendy and unique food trucks regularly appear on my social media feeds, I’ve never fed on any of their delights!

For this inaugural festival, local restaurants and food trucks will gather to compete in three competitions: Best Overall, Best Classic Burger and Anything But Beef.

Tampa Fire Marshal Milton Jenkins heard about the explosion Wednesday morning and immediately thought of Tampa's rally. He checked on the reports and found that the trucks had not been inspected before the event started, as required. So he went down to the food truck rally himself to check it out. He met an inspector there.
