CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Today, Cape Coral City Council members will discuss a proposed ordinance that could cook up trouble for small businesses.

The ordinance would require food truck owners to pay a $600 permit fee every six months, and they would have to move their trucks every three days.

They would also be required to have $500,000 worth of insurance, and couldn’t set up within 500 feet of churches, daycares, homes or restaurants without permission
