Move over, Taco Bus, there’s a new food truck in town.
Freshley’s Cafe opened in Seminole Heights just last week to a warm reception by the locals. The refurbished Airstream trailer is conveniently located at the northwest corner of Florida and Hillsborough Avenues.
Owned and operated by three generations of women — grandmother Karen, daughter Jackie and granddaughter and chef Ashley — Freshley’s offers breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday. Their healthy options include turkey sausage, banana wheat pancakes, an egg white frittata and grilled fish tacos.
Freshley’s is take-out only but does have a lovely little outdoor seating area, complete with umbrellas to keep you shaded.
Freshley’s Cafe is open 7 am to 2:30 pm Monday-Friday, and 8 am to 3 pm Saturdays. They are closed Sundays. See their Facebook page or website to view their menu.
