HOUSTON – When Julia Sharaby wanted to open a restaurant, she choose a mobile version: a food truck. Now she wows her customers with award-winning food as the Fusion Taco truck makes stops around the city each day.
Sharaby shows food radio talk show host Cleverley Stone how to make her award-winning Lamb Keema Tacos, the first place dish in the Annual Food Truck Throw Down, held in June, benefiting the American Red Cross. She also demonstrates her recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala, one of her best-selling dishes. She has also been featured on several national television shows about food trucks.
